Libretto from White Dialect Poetry by Bruce Andrews

Seeking the extremity of language, constricted by form. This constriction leading to extremity. This extremity leading to possibility. Desiring this extremity. On rails leading to the edge without desolation. Finding only gilded palaces. Finding the measure. Exacting the measure. How else to say from one to one hundred, from A to Z? Discovering mind through almost sleeping, dreaming through the A to Z. Dreaming, thinking, speaking, writing. All from A to Z without reverse. Slotted on the track and gone.
